My final music video project is based on conventions that I saw while researching indie music. It sticks to the common homemade aesthetics that are seen in a large amount of indie and bedroom pop music videos. However, I challenged these conventions by using them with a song that is popular and is not indie or bedroom pop. The conventions of the genre of “Head over Heels” are often over the top with quirky visuals. I took a small bit of inspiration from these characteristics, but otherwise, I stayed true to the indie genre. It represents my friends and I’s shared cultural heritage and gender. Music Video: All over!

I finally finished my music video. Here's how it went. After figuring out that I had a lot of issues I decided to just refilm. Luckily, some of the footage I have from before was usable. So I cut that up and put it in it. I also recorded some new footage of me lip-synching. It was really fun to dance a lot. I had some trouble figuring out the lighting, but it worked out. The hardest part was editing on beat. Especially synking my lips. I had to get the Music on time for it to make sense. It took a while. I was a little worried that I wouldn't get it in by the time I wanted to finish. If I didn't, what would I do but I figured it out. Yay! I liked how it turned out. My friends liked it a lot too. They were happy that they acted in it. It was a fun project. I went through a lot of hurdles, but they did work out. I'm a little relieved that it's finished. It was fun while it lasted.

Music Video: Another hurdle.

This is hard because I had planned to have multiple different forms of cameras used, I had to rethink my plans entirely. Also, Halloween fell on a Tuesday. A school night. Anyways, I left my house. While heading to the party I filmed a few videos in the car. I arrived at the party. However, my phone completely malfunctioned. I would use my friends phone, but I didn't want to use all of their storage. Also, I got separated from the people I was going with. It was so stressful! In the end, I found my friends. It still was a rough night for me and not
