Research and Planning For Commerical

To start off, I wanted to visualize the concept that I wanted for my commercial. I started off thinking about my traits that could be highlighted, and I came up with these three: Art, Confidence, and Friendship. I think these three words describe myself in a good way for the advertisement. Next, when I was choosing a song, my goal was to include these traits into my choice. So I decided to go with The Spark (Clean Version) -The Roots. The main reasons for choosing this song was the rhythm, the lyrics, and the energy. I think the rhythm of the song is good for the commercial I was envisioning. I did consider other songs, such as Drama - Erika de Casier and Heated - Beyonce but because they didn't have the rhythm I was looking for, I did not. I also think the lyrics from The Spark resonate with me and the traits that I specified to begin with. The energy of the song is confident and comes off as fearless. These are the feelings I want to show with this video.  Next, I choose the videos and pictures I wanted to use. I focused on pictures when I felt my best. I don't want to portray a version of myself that is not accurate to who I actually am. I again also focused on the ideas I wanted to deliver. Additionally, I wanted to choose pictures that matched the vibe of the song that I picked, so they didn't come off out of place. So, I picked a few videos of my having fun with my friends. I also one video of me posing and one of me doing art. For the pictures, I choose some from my birthday, at school, and out with my friends. I think that all the pictures look good together. The visuals I choose all have a cohesive color story and vibe. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find all of them without getting stuck or taking new pictures, but with a little thought I figured it out. At the end, I ended up with all the media I desired.
